Kennt Ihr schon YouTube Disco? Disco steht übrigens kurz für “discovery” und so soll das neue YouTube Tool dann auch dazu dienen, neue Künstler zu entdecken. Hab’s heute gerade zum ersten Mal ausprobiert… es funktioniert und kann auch, soweit sich das nach dem ersten Testen sagen lässt, ganz interessante Ergebnisse liefern. Neben Songtiteln des gesuchten Künstlers schlägt YouTube Disco ähnliche Künstler vor und generiert daneben eine Mix Playlist. Praktisch, da sich ganz schnell Playlists erstellen lassen, die man selbst noch umgestalten kann. 
Eine neue Playlist mit einem Klick – so wird’s möglich. Das Projekt steckt bisher noch in den Anfängen, bin mal gespannt, was sich YouTube da noch alles einfallen lässt. Nicht zuletzt beweist YouTube damit wieder einmal, dass sie anderen Video Streaming Seiten noch um einiges voraus sind…

Here is a newcomer who quietly entered the Youtube pages. YouTube Disco (disco for the music DISCOvery). It is not surprising to see today’s Google / Youtube approach discretly distributing music (in the same way, Deezer or Spotify). In their way, the Youtube teams have created a very interesting tool for creating playlists and present in the same time how much their their video music search engines have already improved.
Although the concept of playlists is already well established on most of the video streaming sites, Youtube still went one step further by creating their “channels” which allow to customise music.
The new tool allows you to discover new artists and songs and in the same time creates new music playlists with just one click. Quite impressing I think…
