In December 2009, in a forum dedicated to the group Daft Punk, a user sent a Daft Punk clip from the up coming movie “Tron Legacy”. The reactions were enthusiastic.
This week, Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk member) said “Fragile is not from Daft Punk and is not from Tron Legacy”. The disappointment among the fans is huge.
Again this week, the famous group “Justice” supposedly published a new clip called ’Beginning of the End’. In this case internet surfers were sceptic from the beginging and they were right to do so since Ed Banger Labels confirmed in the end that the video clip wasn’t an official Clip of Justice.
The number of fakes are currently increasing, last November last a famous French Radio (Fun Radio) even broadcast one by David Guetta and Rosie Rogers, Without You, but… again, it turned out to be a fake.
Axel Dauchez – neuer Deezer Geschäftsführer 0 comments
Nach den vielen Gerüchten die hier in Frankreich in der Presse kursierten, erschien heute eine offizielle Deezer Pressemitteilung, die den Führungswechsel bei Deezer bestätigt.
Axel Dauchez übernimmt die Geschäftsführung Deezers. Das neue Oberhaupt bei Deezer weist bereits über 15 Jahre Erfahrung in der Direktion von Medien und Internet auf: als Präsident von BDDP Interactive und Geschäftsführer von MoonScoop verhalf Axel Dauchez schon mehreren interaktiven Medienplattformen in Frankreich, den USA und Asien zum Erfolg.
Jonathan Benassaya bleibt Deezer jedoch in der (repräsentativen) Funktion des Präsidenten erhalten. Er hält immer noch 10% der Gesellschaft inne. Daniel Marhely, technischer Direktor bei Deezer, hält selbst mehr als 35%, die anderen Anteile der Gesellschaft teilen sich mehrere Aktionäre unter sich auf. Jene sind es, die beschlossen, die leitende Position an einen erfahrenen Geschäftsführer zu übergeben.
Dessen offizielles Statement zur neuen Funktion bei Deezer:
“Deezer hat bereits einen fabelhaften Erfolg errungen, ist aber noch weit davon entfernt, sein gesamtes Potential auszuschöpfen. Ich freue mich dem Team beizutreten, um mit ihm die nächsten Schritte zu gehen.”
Das lässt hoffen? Schliesst dies eventuell eine kommende Ausweitung der Strategie Deezers aufs Ausland mit ein? Bisher lässt sich nur spekulieren… Ich denke aber wir können gespannt sein und ich halte Euch auf jeden Fall auf dem Laufenden. 
The rumor that has been going on during the last week has finally been officially confirmed: Jonathan Benassaya, former executive director of Deezer is handing over his position to Axel Dauchez.
Axel Dauchez has already more than 15 years of experience in the field of media and internet and brought several interactive media plattforms in France, USA and Asia to succes. Jonathan Benassaya is keeping a (representing) function of president as he holds 10% of the company. The other founder of Deezer and now Technical Director Daniel Marhely holds 35% of Deezer, while the other parts are divided among several shareholders. It was their decision to hand over the directive position to an experienced manager.
Axel Dauchez in his first official statement:
“Deezer has already come to an amazing succes but we are still far from our full potential. I am happy to join this team and to take the next steps with them.”
Does this include a Deezer strategy that includes countries other than France? We cannot know yet. But I am really curious and I’ll be keeping you up to date.

Gerade höre ich das neue Album von Four Tet, welches seit heute auf Deezer Frankreich verfügbar ist (Wie sieht’s aus in Deutschland? Mal wieder grau?) Bin begeistert? Hab das Gefühl der Frühling zieht ein … direkt in mein Wohnzimmer … 
Töne die Freude machen und das ist doch auch mal was…! Daneben lässt sich’s bequem bloggen, lesen, zeichnen, entspannen … Und die Musik läuft und läuft in endlos Schleife… Genial! Werd versuchen etwas zweisprachiger zu werden… hier also mal wieder auf Englisch:

I’m just listening to the new album of Four Tet that is available on Deezer since today (Hope it’s the same for you in UK… and not in grey?) I’m totally enjoying it. It’s like spring was moving into my small apartment in Paris … directly into my living room … Tunes that make me happy … and hey, that’s something!
In the meantime I’m blogging, reading, drawing, relaxing … And the music goes on and on and on … Pure euphoric joy!

Kennt Ihr schon YouTube Disco? Disco steht übrigens kurz für “discovery” und so soll das neue YouTube Tool dann auch dazu dienen, neue Künstler zu entdecken. Hab’s heute gerade zum ersten Mal ausprobiert… es funktioniert und kann auch, soweit sich das nach dem ersten Testen sagen lässt, ganz interessante Ergebnisse liefern. Neben Songtiteln des gesuchten Künstlers schlägt YouTube Disco ähnliche Künstler vor und generiert daneben eine Mix Playlist. Praktisch, da sich ganz schnell Playlists erstellen lassen, die man selbst noch umgestalten kann.
Eine neue Playlist mit einem Klick – so wird’s möglich. Das Projekt steckt bisher noch in den Anfängen, bin mal gespannt, was sich YouTube da noch alles einfallen lässt. Nicht zuletzt beweist YouTube damit wieder einmal, dass sie anderen Video Streaming Seiten noch um einiges voraus sind…

Here is a newcomer who quietly entered the Youtube pages. YouTube Disco (disco for the music DISCOvery). It is not surprising to see today’s Google / Youtube approach discretly distributing music (in the same way, Deezer or Spotify). In their way, the Youtube teams have created a very interesting tool for creating playlists and present in the same time how much their their video music search engines have already improved.
Although the concept of playlists is already well established on most of the video streaming sites, Youtube still went one step further by creating their “channels” which allow to customise music.
The new tool allows you to discover new artists and songs and in the same time creates new music playlists with just one click. Quite impressing I think…

The chipmusic or chiptune is the music coming from computer chips and more generally of the old consoles. Today we find it especially in the “demoscene“. The demoscene is a computer subculture generally known for artistic creation by computer programs.

Deezer, eine der erfolgreichsten Online Streaming Seiten Europas und in Frankreich immer noch in unangefochtener Spitzenposition scheint eine entscheidende interne Erneuerung vorzubereiten. Nach Uneinigkeiten und eher enttäuschendem Resultat des “Deezer Premium” Angebots, wurde der Deezer Geschäftsführer Jonathan Besassaya abberufen und soll in Kürze ersetzt werden um die Rentabilität der Unternehmnung Deezer weiterhin zu sichern. Die Neuigkeit wurde von Seiten der Webseite dementiert, die Abwesenheit des Geschäftsführers bei der heutigen Konferenz der Major Labels und Musikseiten lässt jedoch hinsichtlich des bevorstehenden Führungswechsels keinen Zweifel mehr offen.
